Privacy policy, in plain English

• No accounts, no signup, no logins.
• No analytics or advertising trackers. VibeDex doesn't load Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics, ad pixels or similar scripts.
• VibeDex itself doesn't set cookies. It saves one setting in your browser: light or dark mode.
• Some outbound links are affiliate links. The partner site may set its own cookies after you click.
• We don't sell or share personal information, because we don't collect it.

Theme preference. When you use the light/dark toggle, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage (key theme) so the site looks right next time. It stays on your device and is never sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Search and browsing. Searching and filtering the directory happens entirely in your browser. What you type isn't sent to us or stored.

Newsletter box. The homepage has a “get the best new AI tools” signup box. It isn't connected to an email service yet, so an email address typed there isn't sent anywhere or stored. If we launch the newsletter, we'll update this policy first and say which provider we use.

Hosting logs. VibeDex is a static website hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel handles basic technical details of each request (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We don't use this to identify visitors. See Vercel's privacy policy.

Email. If you email us, we get your address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply and don't add you to any list.

VibeDex earns commissions from some links, for example Make, and partners such as Lovable through the Impact network. If you click one and later sign up or buy, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links are marked as sponsored in the page code, and they don't affect which tools we list or how we rank them.

When you click a partner link, the partner (or its affiliate network, like Impact) may set cookies or use the link to record that you came from VibeDex. That happens on their site, under their privacy policy, not ours.

VibeDex links to many third-party tools and websites. We don't control them, and their privacy practices are their own. Check a site's privacy policy before you sign up or share information there.

The installable VibeDex app (added from your browser) and the Android app simply load this website. They don't collect anything extra: the same rules on this page apply.

VibeDex isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think a child has sent us personal information, email us and we'll delete it.

If how VibeDex handles data changes (for example, if we add a newsletter or analytics), we'll update this page and the “last updated” date above.
